CAREER TRANSITIONERS! Does this sound familiar?

You are unhappy with your current work situation, you are stuck or confused as to what’s next in your career, but you don’t seem to be able to take the right course of action. 😫

You are definitely not living your full potential and there is a mismatch between what you truly want and what you are currently experiencing in your work life. Whether you are overworked or underutilised, you feel unrewarded and you know something’s got to change! 🥺 But what? How? Your heart is not in what you do, and you have self-doubt. Maybe you feel you have no options?

If you can relate to this, let me shed some light on what is really going on here!

You may be:

1     Applying for jobs blindly – scattergun approach. You are coming from a place of scarcity and panic mode. Do you think it’s going to work?

2   Working on your CV like your life depended on it without doing the deeper exploratory work. CV is a pretty static piece of personal branding, but believe me, the best CV in the world is not going to get you where you want if other, vital ingredients are not in place.

3    Doing nothing as feeling stuck, while in your head you are constantly ruminating about your work situation. Fear can be paralysing. It also blurs your perception and affects your creativity and problem-solving abilities. And you need them dearly in order to get out of the rut.

4    Asking the wrong people for advice. And then going into: “ I should have, I could have” mode. Unhelpful!

5   You are so bogged down with your current work that you hardly have any time or energy to devote to job-hunting, let alone to consistent work on getting more clarity, confidence and focus when it comes to your career management. Or so you think!

PS. I admit – I did make up the word (again!) – “transitioners” but it’s fun to do that, plus this word is really needed right now! 😁 😇
